What to wear with leggings

Leggings have become a major part of everyday fashion. They are very comfortable and are here to stay for a while. You have to get this style right. asap.

Different types of leggings

You find new kinds of leggings being made available all year round. Keep yourself updated about the latest style is as important as finding the leggings that define you.
It all started off with the

1) The simple black leggings

They are the easiest to wear.
Almost everything goes with them.
You must just avoid everything floral and black boots.

2) Solid coloured leggings

Too much of black can get boring.
Coloured leggings look great with floral tops and short dresses.

3) Shiny leggings

We might as well as call them party leggings.

            Sexy is written all over these leggings.

4) Printed leggings

These are the new kinds of leggings, and they are driving me crazy.
1) Floral leggings
2) Aztec leggings
3) Comic strips
4) Random designs

With so many options for us girls, you'll have a tornado in your wardrobes trying to mix and match and create something beautiful :) and aint that something we all love to do?

5) Animal print leggings

The animal print strikes here too. 

 

6) Ripped leggings

 Leggings for the bad girl in you.

7) 3/4 leggings

 Two things to keep in mind while wearing leggings

• Leggings are not pants: You cant wear short tops on leggings. The top should be long enough to just cover you butt. that is the shortest you can go. Hence they made jeggings, and this you can wear as a pant.
• Footwear for leggings: If the leggings end just above your ankle, you can wear pumps and other similar kinds of heels. If heels are not your thing, ballerinas is your answer. If its a full length legging, boots look amazing, all kinds of them. Flip flops are cool too for a casual look. With 3/4 leggings, you can wear everything mentioned above except for boots.

• The flower girl

Floral leggings are here and the girl in you needs them. They can be a little tricky, but you'll be fine as long as follow these two simple rules :P

1. Your top should be plain, without any pattern or prints.
2.  And choose the colour from the leggings which is not over powering.

• Partyware

Wear any top that comes below your butt, your favourite heels, leggings and its partyyy time.
Quick, easy and gets you what you want ;)

 

• Rocker chick

Found this photo somewhere in the net, and i must say, any of these tops would look good with leggings.
Boots, sneakers or even heels will take this look miles ahead.

 

• Boyfriend shirts

 

Boyfriend shirts look the best with leggings.Everything about it screams cool and sexy.
If your not the boots kinda girl, you can wear ballerinas.

• With a skirt

If you like wearing short skirts but don't have the legs to carry them off, wearing black leggings with them will make your legs look thinner.

DIY: Make your own head band

The queen bee did get to me. Blair waldorfs headbands are something I lust for. I cant buy them all so i decided to try make them. And i must say, making head bands is fun :D

All you need is

1) Any old fabric that you like. Im using the sleeve of my old dress. just make sure its long enough.
2) An old hairband.
3) A needle and thread.
4) Something cute to make it prettier (i did end up using pearls, they looks so much better)

Take the fabric and twist it around the hairband from one end.

When your happy with the way it looks (this is the tricky part), hold one end while you make a very small knot at the other end. Stitch the knot in any random way making sure the thread hold the knot. Repeat the same on the other side and your done.

I used a sting of pearls to make it look grand :)
